Our History

Robomatter Incorporated is a technology and engineering curriculum solutions provider focused on bringing STEM experiences to students by leveraging the motivational effects of computer science and robotics. Robomatter’s solutions include research-backed curricula, interactive technology tools, STEM teacher professional development programs, and certification programs through a partnership with Carnegie Mellon’s Robotics Academy.

Led by a leadership team with over 80 years combined experience in robotics and computer science education, Robomatter’s educational software, curriculum, and tools are used by millions of students around the world every day. Our computer science and robotics curriculum incorporates educational technology such as VEX Robotics Technology, LEGO® MINDSTORMS Robotics, Scratch Programming, Unity 3D Technology, and many others.

Our research-based STEM solutions use unique and engaging tools*, technology, and educational curriculum to teach kids foundational concepts, processes and principles, not just facts and concepts to memorize. By focusing on proven teaching methods, rigorous curricula, teacher training and certification, and educational technology, our STEM curriculum helps drive change in the globalized STEM classroom and teach kids the language of innovation.

Robot Virtual Worlds

Robot Virtual Worlds is a high-end simulation environment that enables students, without robots, to learn programming. Research shows that learning to program in RVW is 33% more efficient than using physical robots. RVW allows you to program simulated VEX® and LEGO® robots in 3D environments using the same programming languages (ROBOTC, NXT-G, EV3-G, and LabVIEW) as the physical robots.

ROBOTC

ROBOTC is a programming software for popular real world VEX, LEGO, and Arduino robotics platforms. ROBOTC is a syntax-based language much like the C programming language. It now offers a new “Graphical” feature which allows you to drag-and-drop commands to make learning programming easier. ROBOTC is the premiere robotics programming language for educational robotics competitions.
