This Camp-on-a-Disk CD-Rom provides a full-featured robotic adventure within a subtext of environmental responsibility. Robo-campers are tasked to complete missions in the storm-tossed Green Geyser Wilderness Park, while applying STEM-oriented math, science and engineering concepts. A three-stage timeline takes campers from the Lodge (where they learn the basics), across country on the Trek (where they experience sample challenges) to the Park, where they get to test their robotic design, programming and engineering oriented skills by fixing damaged bridges, retrieving a geyser microbe sample, and powering up a wind turbine, to name a few.
